Produced in seven countries, including for ABC in the US, ITV in the UK and France 2.
A head-to-head quiz where knowledge, nerve and strategy collide spectacularly.
-
Two contestants. Four possible answers. Ten chips. One mistake can end everything.
Duel turns the traditional multiple-choice quiz into a tense game of strategy. Two contestants face the same question and four possible answers. They can cover as many answers as they want with their chips – but every extra answer costs them.
Cover the correct answer and you survive. Cover the wrong ones and those chips are gone. Fail to cover the correct answer and the Duel is over.
Suddenly, knowing the answer is only half the game. Contestants must constantly decide how confident they really are, and how much of their limited ammunition they are prepared to risk.
The beautifully simple mechanic creates instant play-along, visible jeopardy and dramatic head-to-head television, with fortunes capable of changing on a single question.
A proven international format, Duel has been produced across Europe and the United States.
