Supermarket Chef turns an ordinary trip to the supermarket into an extraordinary cooking competition.

Without warning, an announcement comes over the supermarket tannoy, inviting shoppers to take part. A dish is revealed, a budget is set and the challenge begins. Contestants must race through the aisles, choosing and buying everything they need before heading to the cooking area to turn their ingredients into something delicious.

The competition takes place in and around the supermarket, with purpose-built cooking stations either inside the store or nearby. Shoppers become contestants, the aisles become their pantry, and every decision counts.

At the heart of every challenge are three simple ingredients: taste, cost and time. Contestants must shop smart, manage their budget and cook brilliantly under pressure.
